Security for call receiving and call origination is important.  The JSR must at least detail the MIDP permissions and additionally provide the permissions required in the CDC SecurityManager policy file.

Internationalization is important, both in terms of expected results and inputs required, and in terms of different call originating formats (acceptable dialing strings).
