There are now a significantly large number of active JSRs under the JAIN and OSS/J umbrellas. Although IBM does not have a strong reason to vote against further JSRs, we are concerned about this continuous expansion, before some of the earliest JSRs have reached completion. We believe that the overall JAIN community needs to see more progress on getting many of the existing specifications completed, so that they can be implemented, rather than adding new items.
