I do have experience where we wrote our own library to convert data from one unit to another. Given that this functionality already is not supported, i would love to help and contribute in the same. |

I have been a member of former JSR-108 and JSR-275 groups. I have experience in writing an implementation similar to JSR-108. I'm the current chair of the GeoAPI working group in the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) - GeoAPI is still using JSR-275 and would like to replace it by this JSR-363. I can do the liaison between this JSR group and OGC, in particular the OGC's GeoAPI, Sensors and Observations & Measurements groups. I'm a contributor of Apache Spatial Information System (SIS) project, which is likely to depend extensively on this JSR-363. |

There are 2, approving the one with the Red Hat contact since it's a JCP member and looks more recent. |
